Our Most Recent Ofsted Report

Little Harrowden Primary School was last inspected by Ofsted on 17th and 18th January 2023 and received an overall rating of Good in all key areas — including Quality of Education, Behaviour & Attitudes, Personal Development, Leadership & Management, and Early Years provision.
We are proud of the outcomes of the inspection, which reflect the dedication of our staff, the hard work of our pupils, and the support of our wider school community.

Summary Highlights

  • Positive School Environment: The school is described as welcoming and inclusive.  There are positive relationships between staff and children.

  • Good Behaviour and Attitudes: The majority of pupils behave well, and they feel that the behaviour policy is 'fair'.

  • Strong Curriculum: The curriculum is well designed and ambitious.

  • Writing Focus: Leaders have recently adopted a new approach to developing writing skills,  It is still in its early stages. 

  • Good Support for SEND: Pupils with SEND get the support they need.  Teachers adapt their teaching, so that pupils with SEND can access the curriculum.
