Supporting Children with SEND
Children may have special needs or emotional and behavioural needs at any point throughout their time at school.
We endeavour to identify children as early as possible so that we can provide them with the support that they need. We follow the Local Authority guidelines and the Code of Practice regarding the assessment and identification of children.
Working with Specialist Services
We work closely with specialists, including:
- Educational Psychologists
- Speech and Language Therapists
- The School Nursing Team
- Health Visitors
- Many more
This ensures that we meet the needs of the children effectively.
In-Class Support
We ensure that all classes have a Learning Support Assistant, who works with children in small groups or individually to support their learning.
