Sports Premium
What is the PE and Sport Premium?
The PE and Sport Premium is additional funding provided by the Government to help primary schools improve the quality of the PE, physical activity and sporting opportunities they offer to pupils.
The funding is designed to help children develop positive attitudes towards physical activity from an early age, supporting schools to enhance the quality of physical education, increase participation in sport and encourage healthy, active lifestyles.
The PE and Sport Premium enables schools to make sustainable improvements that benefit all pupils by investing in staff development, resources, extracurricular opportunities and wider physical activity initiatives.
